Darrin Peterson

Cofounder/Chairman

For more than 15 years Darrin Peterson has worked in the natural products industry as a leading sales agent, a retail store manager, and the co-owner of a small manufacturing firm. Most recently he co-founded OrderDog, Inc, (a technology-based company that provides supply chain services and solutions in the natural product industry) that was voted one of the “Top 25” ideas that changed the industry. He has consulted for some of the largest companies in the channel and currently serves as Chairman/President of LifeSeasons™.

Gary Riding

Cofounder/ Board Member

Gary Riding has extensive experience in running cross-functional P&L’s, particularly those with substantive retail operations.  His roles have included region president with Verizon Wireless, CEO of Cellhire USA, and he is currently a regional vice president with T-Mobile USA.  Gary has an MBA from UC Berkeley.  He also has many experiences reaching back to his boyhood where natural supplements have made each season of life better.

Joe Elmer

Board Member

Joe Elmer joined Parkway in 1987 to work alongside his brother and Parkway Founder, John Elmer. Together, with the addition of Jerry Elmer in 1993, they built Parkway to over $100 Million by 2000. Joe became the President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the organization, leads the Executive Team, oversees the Company’s largest single account and is Chairman of Parkway’s Board of Directors. He has held multiple positions from Project Manager to President and CEO.

Joe and his partners have been involved in the purchase and development of multiple companies, including National Gunite, a national concrete restoration company specializing in professional shotcrete and gunite restoration services. Prior to Parkway, Joe worked in commercial real estate where he leased a premier office project in Dallas.

One of Joe’s passions is his work in Peru, where he is Chairman and Founder of Project Pirca, a Non-Profit Foundation whose purpose is to improve the quality of life and daily living conditions of the inhabitants of Pirca, a remote village high in the mountains of Peru. Joe travels to Peru regularly to work with Pirca’s villagers.

Brandon Cope

Board Member

Prior to joining JCP Capital, Brandon worked for McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm. While at McKinsey, he focused on growth strategy, organizational transformation, and operational improvement projects across numerous industries. Brandon has an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He currently serves on the Boards of HireVue, LifeSeasons, and Summit Global Group.

Jon Cannon

Board Member

Jon Cannon serves as senior vice president of global operations for FedEx Office and Print Services, Inc., an operating company of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX). In this role, he oversees all operations for more than 1,900 FedEx Office Print and Ship Centers and FedEx Office Ship Centers around the world.

During his more than 20-year career with the company, Mr. Cannon has continuously proven his commitment to both quality and customer service. In his previous role as vice president of core products, Mr. Cannon was involved in developing new products and services and helped to develop and build more than 380 Signs & Graphics locations for the company.

Mr. Cannon began his career with the company while attending college and was a founding partner for Kinko's, which FedEx acquired in 2004. He has held numerous management positions, including Area Vice President, Vice President General Manager - Central Division. He is a three-time President's Club recipient and recognized as a top leader.

Mr. Cannon is actively involved in programs aimed at building character and leadership qualities in youth. He is an executive board member of the Circle 10 Council for the Boy Scouts of America. He received his Bachelor of Arts in finance from the University of Utah.
